Northern Lights Public Schools is pleased to announce that Scott Woodward will be joining the division as Director of Learning - Student Services.
“Scott brings a wealth of experience as a school administrator, along with a proactive, innovative approach to supporting student learning,” said Superintendent Rick Cusson. “His commitment to finding creative solutions will be invaluable as we work to advance our division’s priorities.”
With 17 years of experience as a principal across four unique schools, Woodward has a strong background in educational leadership within diverse settings. Prior to his roles as principal, he worked as a Learning Services Consultant, Assistant Principal, and Special Needs Coordinator and also taught at the middle school level.
“I am looking forward to learning and working with the staff and students of NLPS,” said Woodward. “The focus on wellness as well as academics is something that really stood out for me, knowing it is critical for success. I feel fortunate to be able to have this opportunity to learn alongside everyone and to share how my experiences may help in moving this vision forward.”
